Technical Writer (FedRAMP/NIST)

Primary Purpose and Goal of Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced FedRAMP/NIST Technical Writer to join our team as a Compliance Documentation SME. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in regulatory compliance related to NIST SP 800-53, with at least 5 years of experience working with Azure and GCCH. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining technical documentation related to regulatory compliance activities and ensuring compliance with NIST SP 800-53 regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation related to regulatory compliance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with NIST SP 800-53 regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with the project team to identify compliance gaps and provide recommendations for remediation.
  • Research, analyze and interpret technical information related to FedRAMP and NIST SP 800-53 compliance.
  • Participate in meetings and discussions with stakeholders to gather information and provide guidance on compliance requirements.
  • Ensure timely delivery of all required documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a technical writing role with a focus on regulatory compliance, with a proven track record of success.
  • Extensive experience with NIST SP 800-53 regulatory compliance obligations.
  • Experience with Azure and GCCH is essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of FedRAMP and other relevant regulatory frameworks is preferred.
