Primary Purpose and Goal of Role
Apply deep knowledge of FedRAMP, including audits, to efficiently capture detailed information discussed in meetings, working sessions, technical interviews and document reviews into documents that will be used to inform information security discussions and to provide deliverables that translate cybersecurity requirements into common technical implementations. Responsibilities
- Develop, edit, and revise documentation including standard operating procedures, system security and compliance documentation, and policies and procedures for IaaS, SaaS, or PaaS cloud certifications, ensuring the use of proper technical terminology
- Develop, maintain, collaborate, and review cyber security and compliance documentation with System Owners, Project Teams, Engineers, and other applicable Stakeholders
- Perform quality control activities on technical and non-technical documents
- Conducting research on a variety of technical and non-technical topics
- Writing, developing, editing, and assembling technical publications and/or procedure documents
- Format client ready deliverables to include structure and consistency across tables, illustrations, captions, indexes, cross-referencing and spelling and grammatical check
- Review written correspondence and artifacts to ensure final delivery is understandable to a first-time reader who possesses little knowledge of materials
Requirements
- BA/BS Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Security, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent related experience
- Seven years minimum experience gathering, analyzing, and composing technical information into clear, readable documents to be used by technical and non-technical personnel
- Four years minimum compliance experience with cloud compliance programs, such as FedRAMP and NIST 800-53
- Four years minimum developing and maintaining cloud compliance documentation, including directly associated with FedRAMP and other government industry
- Ability to pass drug screening and Federal Government criminal background check with no felony records
- Authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
- Expresses information verbally and in writing to individuals or groups effectively with the ability to influence changes in processes and behaviors using clear and convincing language and documentation
- Uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make a recommendation
- Ability to organize information with attention to details
