Primary Purpose and Goal of Role
The Cybersecurity Data Analyst - Power BI and Advanced Visualizationsindividual will be responsible for creating insightful cyber-related reports, querying data across various data warehouses, and leveragingcutting-edge technologies to enhance data analysis.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain complex data visualizations using Power BI to support cybersecurity reporting.
Query and analyze data from multiple data warehouses to generate comprehensive reports.
Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to identify reporting needs and provide actionable insights.
Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all reports and visualizations.
Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data analytics and cybersecurity.
Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
Proven experience with Power BI and creating advanced visualizations.
Strong understanding of data querying and data warehouse technologies.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with NIST, executive cyber mandates, and FedRAMP.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with other data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik).
Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards.
Experience with SQL, Python, or other scripting languages.
